    An Old Fashioned 4th of July

    Join the Lexington Historical Society as we return to 1776 to celebrate a cornerstone of liberty! Readings will include Lexington Declaration by Levi Mead (a.k.a. Sam Doran), Declaration of Independence by Reverend Jonas Clarke (a.k.a. Rev. Dr. Peter Meek) and the British Response by Major John Pitcairn (a.k.a. Paul O’Shaughnessy). Event is free and open to the public. $2-a-cup Ice Cream Social featuring Rancatore’s will be sold.

    Buckman Tavern is located off of Massachusetts Avenue and Bedford Street, across from the Lexington Battle Green. Free two hour parking is available around the Lexington Battle Green, or you may park behind the Lexington Depot Building for $2/day.
