    Mistral, Andover Chamber Music’s Ensemble-in-Residence, performs the magnificent Brahms G major String Sextet along with a little Romance by his close friend Joachim, and a newly discovered out-of-print work for flute, string quartet and double bass by Friedrich Gernsheim, a companion and disciple of Brahms. Mistral musicians performing: Juliette Kand and Irina Muresanu, violin; Roger Tapping and Dov Scheindlin, viola; Thomas Kraines and Jan Muller-Szeraws, cello; Julie Scolnik, flute; Don Palma, bass
