In his fifth summer as music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Maestro James Levine makes a welcome return to Tanglewood with a full slate of programs by revered masters and vibrant voices, from favorite symphonies to fully staged opera. Opening Night's blockbuster all-Tchaikovsky program (7/3) features the Symphony No. 6 Pathétique, and the Piano Concerto No.1 with pianist Yefim Bronfman.
