    First American Tour in 30 Years! First Ever New England Concert! VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR In 1969, Van der Graaf Generator was the first act signed to Charisma Records --one of the most influential record companies of the 1970s (some of its most successful acts were Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Julian Lennon and the Monty Python comedy team.} The band earned an intense cult following as one of the era's preeminent art rock groups... Van der Graaf Generator are Peter Hammill (vox, gtr, kbd), Hugh Banton (organ, bass) & Guy Evans (drums , percussion), the three surviving members of the original group line-up of 1968. ACOUSTIC STRAWBS 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the first Strawbs album on A&M Records. The nucleus of Strawbs are David Cousins, Dave Lambert, and Chas Cronk, the front-line of the classic 1970s line-up of Britain's most successful international folk-rock band, and who now tour as Acoustic Strawbs.
