Full of onstage joy and backstage drama, DREAMGIRLS tells the rags-to-riches story of a 1960s motown girl group, and the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune. With music by Academy® Award nominee Henry Krieger and book and lyrics by Tony® and Grammy®-Award winner Tom Eyen, DREAMGIRLS features the unforgettable hits: “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” “One Night Only” and “Listen.” Broadway director and choreographer Robert Longbottom (Bye Bye Birdie) and co-choreographer Shane Sparks (TV’s So You Think You Can Dance), along with some of Broadway’s top designers, re-envision this Tony® and Academy® Award-winning musical so it sparkles like never before!

        the music, vocals and acting was excellent. enjoyed immensively. not having seen the movie i was not prepared for the events that would unfold. truly a classic glad i saw the play

        The show was fantastic, great costumes, great cast, the understudy for Effie brought me to tears.

        This was one of the THE best performances I've seen! Such power - both in voices, staging, scenery etc. Beautiful and very moving from beginning to end. Laughter and tears! A truly nurturing... Expand

        Took my boyfriend to his first show, Thursday matinee. I did not know the understudy for Effie was going to be that good, He loved it.

        I went on the 2nd night, it was wonderful. Everyone was on their feet before the songs were finished. A few kinks still needed to be worked out. I sat in the mezzanine, very, very tight

        A high-energy show from start to finish! There wasn't a dull moment, and the lead vocals were phenomenal!

        I took 5 of my friends and we all were blown away. The show was amazing. The girl who played Effie brought us to tears....amazing!
