        Agree that this version was a HUGE dissapointment. Singing ability of most of the stand-in's who made up the performance I saw was mediocre. AND.. .the worst part was that at the very opening... Expand

        I was very disappointed in this "Disney Production" of Lion King. I had seen the original in NYC 9 years ago, and loved it! This modern version would have Disney (Walt) turning in his grave.... Expand

        Sadly, the acting and singing quality is poor, which is why I gave it the one star. I expect Broadway voices for a performance such as this and what I got was absolutely nothing like I've seen on... Expand

        From the staging to the music and acting, this production cannot hold a candle to the one in Boston several years ago. Every part of the staging seemed pared down, cheap. The singing was not good... Expand
