    Beginner Painting, ages 9-13- In this beginner’s class, students will learn the fundamentals of painting while studying traditional and contemporary painters. Lessons will include color theory and basic techniques such as layering and highlighting. Working from still life, students will learn to break down objects to simple forms, then build in details. This class will provide the knowledge and confidence to tackle painting; beginning with acrylics and progressing to oils.
