Acclaimed for its passionately authentic flamenco, Paco Peña’s A Compás, In the Rhythm, brings to the stage a true interpretation of what flamenco represents: a spontaneous collaboration among dancers, singers and musicians. Miguel Ortega reveals the intensity, depth and raw energy of flamenco cante, while the company's three superb dancers create flurries of impeccably controlled rhythms with hand claps and exquisite footwork. Paco Peña himself displays his sublime guitar technique across a dazzling array of solo and ensemble pieces with two other guitarists and a percussionist.
