At the heart of the vibrant Northwest independent music scene, Mirah crafts her own brand of slice-of-life indie pop, filled with playful melodies and quirky observations. Accompanied by her band, Mirah’s ray-of-moonlight vocals lilt over a myriad of instrumental textures, ranging from the traditional to the found and the invented. Her new album-(a)spera, achieves a deceptive simplicity that upon closer listening reveals a provocative and sensually complex world of sound.
