Throw Down Your Heart with Banjo Virtuoso Béla Fleck

The Coolidge Corner Theatre presents a preview screening of Throw Down Your Heart, a critically acclaimed documentary that follows American banjo great Béla Fleck on his journey to Africa to explore the roots of the banjo and to record an album. Fleck, a multiple Grammy Award winner, will be in attendance to introduce the film and to answer audience questions and perfom on the banjo after the screening. The Coolidge will present additional screenings of Throw Down Your Heart beginning July 10. For more information, visit
