Led by dynamic violinist Patrick Cohen-Akenine, the French chamber ensemble Les Folies Francoises breathes new life into the wide instrumental and vocal repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries, in the Baroque spirit of freedom, plurality, and creativity. They make their Boston Early Music Festival debut with a program of music by Leclair, Barriere, and Royer, court musicians to the infamous Louis XV.
