The Waitomo Caves Choir of New Zealand in Concert
July 9, 2009
Add Review/Comment
Known to the Maori people and discovered by English explorers in 1887, the Waitomo Caves of New Zealand are best known for their unique inhabitants--luminescent glowworms that twinkle from its ceiling. Its iconic natural cathedral, an expansive space with incredible acoustics, has hosted the renowned Waitomo Caves Choir for more than 20 years. This talented choir joins us on its international tour for an afternoon of music for the whole family—traditional Maori songs, folk songs, and moving spirituals.
