      I have attended a number of Broadway musicals over the years but had never seen an off Broadway show until I ended up at the Saturday night performance of Altar Boyz in Portsmouth, NH. I didn't quite... Expand

      I have attended a number of Broadway musicals over the years but had never seen an off Broadway show until I ended up at the Saturday night performance of Altar Boyz in Portsmouth, NH. I didn't quite know what to expect from a show in a small local venue without all the high tech resources of a Broadway theater, but it turned out to be by far the most enjoyable performance I have ever attended! The story was quite funny, the audience was kept engaged, and the 5 member cast was absolutely terrific! Each one of them is an incredibly talented actor, singer and dancer, and they seemed to be perfectly cast for their respective roles! The show was a perfect balance of humor and amazing talent! I was so impressed by the singing and dancing! It's the first time ever that I would consider seeing a performance a second time. The audience was made up of younger and older adults alike, and all seemed to be having a good time. So I'd strongly recommend this performance to adults of all ages. Collapse
