Stoneham Theatre re-opened its doors with A Christmas Carol on December 1, 2000. Now the heartwarming classic returns in celebration of the theatre's tenth season. Join Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and all three ghosts for this tale of redemption and forgiveness that captures the true spirit and magic of the holiday season.

I think it is unfair to compare to NSMT. This production is different and wonderful in its own way.The way the sets were changed was incredible

This is Dickens pure and simple. No msg, no additives just a profound and simple telling of a wonderful story. It is touching almost tragic and utterly joyful.

Those who were bored by this production must have no appreciation for Dickens. This adaptation is certainly narration- heavy, but that's because the actors are speaking words from the page. As... Expand

My daughter and I were disappointed, we expected to see a colorful play with music and costumes, comparable to North Shore Theatre. I did not read the prior review. Found it dull and boring.

This was the most boring and uninspiring Christmas Carol I have ever seen. My husband and I actually walked out. Scrooge spoke in the "third person" Why???? It was just terrible, very poor production.... Expand
