Love in the bleachers. Blood on the ice. The usual small town affair. Two lonely, single parents meet while watching their kids play Pee Wee hockey. In the bleachers of an old rink, Teddy and Donna discover the best and worst in themselves, as romance and real life collide in this unconventional and tender story.

      The dialogue and story line appear to befit the two actor production. The acting is genuine and the ice ring atmosphere believable. However the voices of both actors when not shouting or cheering... Expand

      The dialogue and story line appear to befit the two actor production. The acting is genuine and the ice ring atmosphere believable. However the voices of both actors when not shouting or cheering the hockey team seemed much too restrained and resulted in most of the audience {beyond the first three rows} straining to hear the dialogue. Stoneham Theatre needs to invest in more modern wirless microphones and a much more state-of-the-arts sound system. This is not the first production I have attended where the actors could not be heard during conversational tones. Collapse
