Painting in the Longfellow Gardens
August 10 - August 14, 2009
We will spend the week painting in the gardens and environs of the Longfellow House on Brattle Street. Three hours each day will be devoted to painting outside with the last hour set aside for a critique back at the Cambridge Center studio. Students will be encouraged to complete a painting each day, and emphasis will be placed on the underlying content of each image. Acrylic, oil, and watercolor paints are welcome, as well as pastels. There will be restrooms available, but no place to wash brushes until the end of the day, so materials should be self-contained. Limited to 10.
