Ballroom Dancing, also known as DanceSport, is thriving in Cambridge and Boston. It is a necessary social grace that fills a need in both the business world and on a personal level. Discover the world of moving to music in perfect partnership. These beginning courses provide the foundation dance components, base timings/rhythms, key foot patterns, and essential leading and following techniques. Learn to "hear the rhythm" so you can enjoy partnership dancing in the Ballroom or Latin styles, including foxtrot, waltz, cha cha, merengue, and American tango. Note: the Cambridge Center cannot guarantee you a partner, but you are guaranteed to have fun! Limited to 30.
