The Vic Chesnutt band Featuring Guy Picciotto (Fugazi) and members of Thee Silver Mt. Zion With Clare and the Reasons

Vic Chesnutt lives for his music, tirelessly deploying his surly, witty, unflinching perspective in hundreds of songs. His prolific writing - chock full of real irony, wonderful turns of phrase, humor, rage and tenderness, brutal literalism and ornate observation - constitutes a truly original voice and reflects a truly indominable spirit. Since 1990, Chesnutt has released 15 critically acclaimed records; collaborated with Michael Stipe, Lambchop, Bill Frisell, Jonathan Richman, and Elf Power; was the subject of the 1992 PBS documentary Speed Racer and appeared in the Oscar Award-winning film Sling Blade. This fall, Chesnutt tours in support of At the Cut, his second recorded collaboration with ex-Fugazi guitarist Guy Picciotto and members of Three Silver Mt. Zion. This marks the first time that this group of collaborators has toured together.
