September 11-September 21, 2009
Add Review/Comment
An unfairly overlooked director, most famous for his classic horror films (this series includes two of his best-known - 1931's Frankenstein, and its follow-up, Bride of Frankenstein), Whale also directed melodramas, musicals and a Thin Man-esque murder mystery comedy, all included in this retrospective.
