The Boston Landmarks Orchestra kicks off the inaugural showing in its first annual Landmarks Films series, part of the Landmarks Festival at the Shell, with a viewing of the 1951 Gene Kelly musical film An American in Paris inspired by George Gershwin’s 1928 orchestral composition of the same name. Gershwin also wrote the music for the movie.
