Hear Biber’s Sonata Representativa with its musical depictions of several animals; CPE Bach’s surprising and lively Conversation between Sanguineo and Melancholico; William Williams’ In Imitation of Birds. Feel the heat of a summer day in Vivaldi’s Summer Concerto from The Seasons; follow Lully’s charming musical ascent to Parnassus in Couperin’s The Apotheosis of Lully; and enjoy Boismortier’s very French Cello Sonata.
All of this while enjoying the ambiance of the elegantly restored Willowdale Estate at Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield.
