    Instructor: Marla Bosworth Want to learn how to make soap from scratch? Curious about the cold process? Then this is the perfect class for you! You will learn safety guidelines and reach a level of comfort so that you can finally make soap by hand at home! Start making soap this fall for the holiday gift-giving season. We’ll discuss safety precautions, how to formulate your own recipes, saponification, how to recognize “trace”, various oils, additives and exfoliants, coloring, molds, curing, and how to recognize mishaps. Students will receive soap recipes and a list of favorite suppliers.We will make several batches of soap as a class. Each student will take home 5 handmade bars. This class is a great gift for a friend—or yourself. 1 session M: $50 NM: $55 Materials: $25
