Join the Jamaica Plain Historical Society as we honor the eminent historian, Francis Parkman on the occasion of his 186th birthday. We will have a quick clean up of the memorial site, entertain some brief remarks on Francis Parkman and his legacy and then enjoy birthday cake on the slope where his home sat overlooking Jamaica Pond. Please bring your own picnic to enjoy if you like.
