Improvisation Classes for Classical Musicians
September 10 - December 17, 2009
Have fun creating music in-the-moment. Improvisation practice using drones, scales, rhythm patterns, call and response, noise -- anything that makes musical sense. Learn to listen and develop musical materials as you play with a small group of 3 to 6 fellow musicians. Led by composer Pamela Marshall at the Lexington Music School, housed at Munroe Center for the Arts. Private lessons in music composition also available.
