    Cellist Allison Eldredge is a rare talent who has successfully made the transition from exciting virtuosic prodigy to important, mature artist. Early in her career, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant and named Musical America's Young Artist of the Year, and has since received critical acclaim for her technical power and her impassioned performances in the premier concert halls of North America, Europe, Israel, Latin America, and the Far East. Pianist Max Levinson is known as an intelligent and sensitive artist with a fearless technique. He is an active chamber musician as well as soloist, and regularly appears at major music festivals all over the world. The husband and wife team of Eldredge and Levinson will present the first in 2009-2010’s Thompson Chamber Music Series. These dynamic performers promise to engage and enthrall their audience with masterful interpretations of cello/piano repertoire.
