    At The Museum Help Us Break The Record! October 9, 2009 5:00 - 7:00 pm Free Every year, Jumpstart Read for the Record selects one official book that grownups and children all across the country recite in hopes of making reading history. This year, they’ve chosen a book very close to our hearts — The Very Hungry Caterpillar — so we’re pulling out all the stops for an evening of fun. Enjoy Studio activities created by our friends at Pearson, see the original art Eric Carle created for his much-loved book, enjoy The Very Hungry Caterpillar film in the Auditorium, and best of all, join special guests as they read The Very Hungry Caterpillar in pursuit of a world record. There will be visits from the Caterpillar and free pizza and cake, as well! Free Admission thanks to the generosity of Pearson Foundation.
