Whittier Street Health Center’s “Saving the Health of the Community: International Benefit Gospel Concert” is a night of inspirational music, honor for a community leader and support for the work of Whittier Street Health Center. The 2009 Concert will honor the work and dedication of J. Keith Motley Jr., Chancellor of University of Massachusetts Boston, and will be hosted by Gospel Grammy winner Dr. Bobby Jones. There is an open competition for gospel choirs and three of the best groups will have a chance to appear on Dr. Bobby Jones’ show.
