Oscar®-nominee Hal Holbrook comes to The Hanover Theatre on Friday October, 2, 2009 at 8:00pm in Mark Twain Tonight! – his acclaimed Tony® Award-winning one-man show which celebrates the humor, satirical wit, and timeless observations of Mark Twain. Oscar-nominated actor Hal Holbrook has been bringing the unique humor and wit of the celebrated American author Mark Twain to the stage for nearly 50 years. Seeing Holbrook in Mark Twain Tonight! is more than watching a master craftsman at the top of his art. The actor has lived in the role so long, honed it to such a fine edge, worn it so often like a second skin that the act is practically organic. Holbrook understands Twain, and through him, one of the most unique minds of any age continues to flourish.
