The Beauty Road is an evening length work on the theme of community. The concert is conceived as a whole; each of the four pieces progress the story. It explores and celebrates the power and poignancy of community; the creation of family and the way it is nurtured by the larger community, the sisterhood of women and the brotherhood of men, building together, and our inevitable departure.
