Wine, Women & Shoes is a three-day celebration of women and their ‘sole-mates’ designed to help support the over 20,000 participants that benefit from the exhibition, education and outreach programs offered every year by Fuller Craft Museum. Thorny Lea Day One — October 9, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thorny Lea Golf Club, Brockton, Mass. Meet the Vintners Behind the Scenes Merlot and Manolo, Pinot and Pumps! Enjoy a wine tasting, designer shoe preview and conversation with the vintners. Discover how a Sauvignon Blanc pairs with a silver strappy sandal, while Cabernet Sauvignon pairs perfectly with an elegant alligator pump. Concepts like complexity, structure and balance are explained through shoe comparisons, offering a unique spin on the standard winery experience.
