Kashmir presents an authentic Zeppelin concert experience-- a live journey into the mystical powers and spell binding music of Led Zeppelin. 100 Percent Kashmir, 100 Percent Rock And Roll From the uncanny resemblance to Robert Plant, to the duplicated laser and smoke shows that take you back to the 70s, Kashmir is the total Led Zeppelin package. Started in 2002, Kashmir has successfully recreated the sound and energy of the original rock band and has the performance satisfaction of over 500 shows to prove it. Kashmir combines the talent of Jean Violet on vocals (Robert Plant), Andy Urban on lead guitar (Jimmy Page), Paul Cooper on drums (John Bonham) and Cary Fields on bass, keyboards and mandolin (John Paul Jones). Each member of the band gives their all to visually recreate the total Led Zeppelin experience. No wigs are used in this band; all members grow their own hair to resemble that of the original members. Urbans use of duplicated Page instruments and imitation of play styles add to the overall experience that Kashmir produces. In addition to this are the recreated tailor made Dragon Suits and bell bottom jeans and outfits straight out of the 70s Led Zeppelin closet. Performances are the rock to their roll; the band recreates all aspects of the original stage shows, including Jimmy Page’s bow solo in “Dazed and Confused” and his use of the Theremin during “Whole Lotta Love”. Fields navigates seamlessly between bass, keyboards, and mandolin, and Cooper drums memorable rhythms such as the authentic version of “Moby Dick”. Finally, Violet’s vocal range completes the package, while singing the 1973 “Song Remains the Same” album, note for note. The band plays complete Zeppelin albums, 1, 2, 4 and Physical Graffiti, awarding them the most energy out of any Led Zeppelin Tribute. “Hits you like a Hammer Of The Gods!” says the Boston Globe. Hippo Press says “Zeppelin fans feel like they are getting as close as they can to a live Led Zeppelin show.” Not only does Kashmir perform professionally for their fans, but professionalism for venues and management is also a standard. The band is an honest and hard working group of four, always courteous, reliable and extremely easy to work with; not to mention, some may believe they are working with the real Zeppelin band themselves! Kashmir has performed over 500 shows, events and festivals, and have performed for crowds as large as 30,000. They have been commended on numerous occasions on their professionalism and showmanship and have been titled the Nations #1 Led Zeppelin Tribute. www.kashmirrocks.com
