The ladies of Marafanyi have a holistic approach to drum, dance and song that is fun, encouraging and accessible with a focus on joyful exploration! Children ages 5-9, investigate indigenous instruments and learn rhythms, dances and songs from West Africa. Connecting mind, body and sprit, students learn to express themselves through a powerful and lyrical vocabulary of traditional and purposeful rhythms that are hundreds of years old. ...
