On display in Camilla Blackman Hall at Indian Hill Music School until the end of October are the works of artist Ann Christensen. The theme of the display is "Spirit of Place" - because through her daily life she finds herself deeply moved by the power and wonder of the natural world. Christensen says that "people seem to react to the energy and emotional accessibility in my paintings, as well as to the somewhat adventurous use of color". Her influences are Cezanne, the Post-Impressionists, Matisse and the Fauves, and American Abstract Expressionist.
