There are many stirring traditions during the Christmas season, but none as magical as the Holiday Pops. For a few short weeks, historic Symphony Hall becomes a feast for the eyes and ears as Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops perform the most beloved music of the holiday season. For over 30 years, millions of New Englanders and visitors to Boston have experienced the wonder of a Holiday Pops concert. Order your tickets now to ensure you’ll be a part of this cherished tradition.

The concerts run December 9 to December 27, with Kid's Matinee's on December 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 and 24.

The Pops Kitchen offers a varied menu of appetizers, sandwiches, desserts, and beverages, including beer, wine, and soft drinks. Patrons seated at tables (on the orchestra level of Symphony Hall) for a Boston Pops concert may order from the Pops menu and enjoy dining during the concert.

      I brought my two teenagers to the Pops Show in Boston and all three of us loved it. It was a wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit!

      Excellent as always. A nice tradition, great seats. The Holiday Pops was thoroughly enjoyed by all even the newcomers, who will re regulars next year.

      We went to the Pops Christmas concert last year as well. It is such a happy event and changes little from year to year.My favorite piece was the 12 Days of Christmas, performed by the Tanglewood Festival Chorus along with the Pops orchestra. The reason why I did not give this event 5 stars was that my daughter and I were seated at adjacent tables. This meant that we had to balance our food on our laps instead of placing it on the tiny table, where four other folks were seated. Last year we sat at the same table and that was a much better arrangement. We drove into Boston from the North Shore and parked at the Symphony Garage nearby for $16, which reflects a $3 discount for Pops. We certainly will go again next year if discount floor tickets are offered. Collapse

I had not realized you could buy food and drinks for the concert and next year when I purchase the discounted tickets again I will plan on buying my meal there. Well worth the price of the discounted tickets and an excellent holiday tradition to start. Collapse
