    Home Movie Day

It's *that* time of year again...HOME MOVIE DAY! Dig out your home movies on 8mm, 16mm, or DVD and VHS (limit 5 minutes, and tapes must be cued ahead of time) and bring them by! Don't ask yourself, "Why would anyone want to look at MY home movies? How boring." I assure you that we do. And if your movies are on film...YOU probably haven't seen them in years (if ever!) yourself. PLUS...you get to watch them on the big screen. Boston's Home Movie Day will be held again this year at the Harvard Film Archive (see address below). For more information on the HMD please see check out this very brief PSA from last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RAXZrOaI_w Location: Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, Room B-04 Each film must be inspected for damage before being run on a projector, so please drop off your film as early as you can. If possible, drop off your film at the HFA office the week prior to the event. 11:00 a.m. Film Check-In 1:00 p.m. Home Movie Day Screening
