Johannesen:Furu:Sandbakken consist of three of the most prominent young jazz musicians on the Norwegian jazz scene, who with melodic inventiveness create their own distinctive music with nerve and brilliance. The three musicians have long experience touring Europe with,among others, Petter Wettre Quartet, Young Norwegian Jazz Talents of The Year contestants REVOLVER! and Aphrodisiac, Stian Around A Hill Quartet, Wettre/Vinaccia/Johannesen, Hoo Ray, Trabant, Vojtech Prochazka Trio, Diplodokus and Golden Dawn. Johannesen:Furu:Sandbakken has just released their fresh debut album, released on the Norwegian label AIM Sound City.
