Boston Handmade DOWNTOWN is kicking off the holiday season by hosting an Opening Weekend Event on Saturday, November 28 from 5-8pm at their Downtown Crossing gallery at 505 Washington Street. Join the members of juried arts group Boston Handmade as they celebrate their love of all things handmade, and peruse the work of more than 25 artists, artisans, and local craftspeople. The event is free and open for the public to get its first look at the 2nd annual, month-long gallery of limited edition and one-of-a-kind items including jewelry, clothing, accessories, home goods, art, photography, holiday dÈcor, and toys. A selection of hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served, and music will be provided. Boston Handmade DOWNTOWN will be open from Black Friday through Christmas Eve, open Wednesdays through Sundays, 11am to 7pm, with extra hours the week of Christmas.
