    At The Museum The Wonder of Words, the Power of Pictures January 17, 2010 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm Free with Museum Admission 2 PDPs. Join us as we anticipate the announcement of the American Library Association Book Awards and welcome visitors from the ALA’s Mid-Winter meeting. Don’t miss this day filled with activities and the opportunity to browse the Museum’s Galleries, Shop, Art Studio, and Reading Library, including the Barbara Elleman Research Library. 1:00 – 2:00 Golden Book presentation by Leonard S. Marcus, author of Golden Legacy, followed by a book signing 1:00 – 4:00 Studio Activity 3:00 – 4:00 Presentation by Norton Juster, award-winning author of The Phantom Toll Booth, followed by a book signing 4:00 – Film The Snowy Day and Other Caldecott Classics in anticipation of the award announcements
