For its only TCAN performance this season, the LSQ will play Quartet in E Minor, Op. 121, by Gabriel Faure, Morango…Almost a Tango, by Thomas Oboe Lee, and the Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 127 by Ludwig van Beethoven. In residence for 27 years at Brandeis University, the Lydians have performed world-wide to critical acclaim. Kevin Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times says the LSQ "plays beautifully….with a precision and involvement marking them as among the world's best quartets."
