Exhibit runs January 28 - April 16, 2010 artDIASPORA unravels the uniquely different and beautifully intertwined stories of the African Diaspora. Featuring new works created by the internationally-acclaimed artists of AAMARP,* Springstep’s exhibition offers a juxtaposition of diverse artistic media and cultural infl uences that draw on a common humanity. Featured artists: Jeff Chandler (wood carving), Kofi Kayiga (painting), Hakim Raquib (photography), and Susan Thompson (textiles). *AAMARP is the African American Master Artists in Residency Program, an adjunct of the African American Studies Department at Northeastern University All work will be for sale, unless otherwise noted.
