Franz Liszt: Années de pèlerinage, deuxième année: Italie

Pianist Naoko Sugiyama performs the Italian volume of Franz Liszt's Années de Pèlerinage. This monumental set of virtuoso piano pieces refashions, in musical terms, the artworks of Raphael and Michelangelo, the love poetry of Petrarch, and the Infernal spectacle of Dante's Divine Comedy.
