MLK Day Open House

The Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a free open house in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 18th from 10AM to 4:45PM. In addition to free admission for the public, the MFA's open house will feature performances by the Twelfth Baptist Church’s gospel choir, jazz and soul performances from Berklee College of Music and a poetry slam by local artists. Included in the open house is the MFA’s special exhibition, "The Secrets of Tomb 10A: Egypt 2000 BC" as well as its latest exhibition, "Object, Image, Collector: African and Oceanic Art in Focus." The MFA will also provide artmaking activities for families and guided gallery tours--all free of charge.
