AGACHIKO is comprised of remarkable players. Russ Gershon/sax (Either/Orchestra), Ken Field/flute (Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, Birdsongs of the Mezzazoic), Scott Getchell/trumpet~flugelhorn and Chris Forkey (Le Prestige), Ara Sarkissian/piano (Musaner), Phil Neighbors/drums (Jeff Robinson Trio, Revolutionary Snake Ensemble), Joey Pesce/guitar (ex-Til Tuesday), and Gabrielle Agachiko/vocals. They perform the music of Nina Simone, Buddy Johnson, Maltby/Shire, and others in addition to some original compositions. His latest group, the Explorers Club, is a fully- realized 7-piece ensemble of virtuosos capable of executing his most convoluted compositional designs.
