Colum McCann is the author of two story collections and five novels, including "Let the Great World Spin" — winner of the 2009 National Book Award for Fiction. His awards include the Rooney Prize and the Hennessey Award for Irish Literature. McCann teaches creative writing at Hunter College. Presented by the Newhouse Center for the Humanities at Wellesley College.
