Xavier LeRoy: La Sacre du Printemps

In his newest work, LeRoy is inspired by the idea of making-music as a choreographed spectacle. Using a recording of Stravinsky's score by the Berlin Philarmonic, he casts the audience in the role of the orchestra and himself as conductor, performing his own gestural dance as a means of summoning the music.
