Kera Washington is a member of Wellesley’s Music faculty and the director of the Yanvalou Drumming & Dance Ensemble. She is the founder of Zili Misik, a musical collaborative that incorporates Haitian, Brazilian, and West African rhythms to create music that bridges cultures, generations, and continents.
