    The Gordon College Wind Ensemble will be joined by the North Shore Youth Wind Ensemble and the Metropolitan Wind Symphony in a "Continuum" concert, where musicians from different levels of expertise (high school. college and adult professional) will join forces in an afternoon of band music. The concert will be held Sunday Feb. 28., 2010, at 3 pm at Gordon College, A.J. Gordon Memorial Chapel, 255 Grapevine Road, Wenham, MA. The Northshore Youth Wind Ensemble will perform Yosemite Autumn by Mark Camphouse, In Heaven's Air by Samuel Hazo, and Sun Dance by Frank Ticheli. Next, the Gordon College Wind Ensemble will perform Thanksgiving by J. Eric Schmidt, Chester Overture for Band by William Schuman, and Four Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold. Finally, the Metropolitan Wind Symphony will perform Slavianka by Vasily Agapkin and Russian Christmas Music by Alfred Reed. Admission is free for all friends and family of NYSO and MWS.
