Two concurrent exhibitions will share the expansive 808 Gallery space this spring. Side by Side, guest curated by Beth Kantrowitz, features the work of Boston-based artists John Guthrie and Isabel Riley, and explores the sphere of infl uence and exchange between these long-time studio mates. The group exhibition Traces and Places, curated by Lynne Cooney, explores the way in which a line or mark can represent both vestige and future action, emphasizing both the physicality of the mark and the space it encompasses or is about to encompass. Artists include Hannah Burr, Jennifer Kaufman and Laurie Reid. Exhibitions run through March 26. Admission is free and open to the public. Info: 617-358-0922.
