    The Red Room at Café 939 is pleased to welcome Nini & Ben to launch their new album “The Reasons We Try”. Nini & Ben began as loving partnership between two songwriters Nini Fabi and Ben Gebert. Nini, a talented vocalist and Ben, a pianist/guitarist and gifted music engineer have traveled the world together seeking adventure and music. Celebrate their CD release with special guests The Spring Standards hailing from NYC and Russell Lacy. “The Reasons we Try” is produced by Rich Mendelson who has previously worked with acts such as The Cars, Boston, and Rhianna. The album has a general mellow theme that only makes the edgy, up-tempo songs stand out the way they are meant to.
