Travel 6,500 miles to the middle of the pacific and learn about the music, dance, and culture of Tahiti and Hawai’i with Mahea Uchiyama. In this fun, interactive workshop, you will get a glimpse of just a few of the beautiful dances of the pacific islands and then will get up and try them out yourself! You will learn enchanting Hawaiian Hula and song, the lively Ori dance of Tahiti, and even how to tie a Tahitian Pareu, or sarong! Come warm up in the Pacific islands of Hawai’i and Tahiti and learn a little bit about these two very different beautiful cultures. Register online or by phone.
